Celebrate your achievements

Hi everyone!

Happy Monday. Celebration is why Renny Run is here. We celebrate the wonder of children, the strength of their guardians, the achievements of humans, and a vision for a bright and positive future. I am not a pollyanna, but I have learned that starting my day with this attitude helps me step into the world on the right foot. And trust me on this, if I can get out of bed in the morning, I am half of the way there. That is why I write most of these blogs in the morning. I digress.

What I started to say was that Renny Run will always celebrate diversity and the cultivation of it here and around world. So, on this day in February 2021, in honor of Black History Month, we offer a special series of tributes to Black leaders, creators and change makers. Many of the people on this list contribute to our everyday lives in ways that we may barely notice. Others represent the future; those bright young artists, activists, and everyday young people who had the confidence to move their innovative ideas forward.

One of our first is someone you didn’t know two weeks ago, but who now stands in the history books as a voice of the future.

I hope that you are well, and oh, the Kabs Family right!? Sing along with Maliya.

Betty
