Blog #4--Confidence
Renny Run’s birth is the result of a long and painful labor, a story that I will share with you as time moves forward and we get to know each other better. For now, I have this blog, which is a challenge let me tell you. When I was trying to figure out how to introduce you to Renny Run (it’s kind of a long story and gets a little serious) and how to approach you with respect for your individual life experience, this quote from Napoleon Hill popped up in my feed like the universe heard me whisper yelling “Help me!”
"Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” Who doesn’t want to believe that! Then I remembered this from “Oh the Places You’ll go” by Dr. Seuss:
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”
I‘m pretty sure that Dr. Seuss or Napoleon Hill didn’t exactly mean that I should tear down the hill on my bike with no hands, head in the clouds. But it was that confidence in knowing for sure that I would arrive at the bottom intact that basically got me here today.
Confidence and imagination go hand in hand, and we are going to talk a lot about them because from them all the riches of life are born. It turns out there's a lot of science to back up the connection between success, confidence and imagination. Check out this article by Benjamin Hardy, PhD if you want some more on this.
Or you could just listen to this dad as he reads Oh, the Places You'll Go to you.

So happy to see you! Have a great day.
